Cero is one of the most powerful techniques mastered by Arrancar, particularly members of the Espada. This technique allows the user to fire spiritual energy with incredibly destructive power.
Each Arrancar has a unique color and method of firing a Cero. Some have even developed variations of Cero-based attacks with terrifying destructive power.
In this article, we will discuss about variations of Cero techniques in Bleach. Check out the full discussion below!
1. Gran Rey Cero
Gran Rey Cero is a variation of Cero mastered by members of the Espada, such as Grimmjow. The technique's devastating power is incredibly powerful and has the potential to destroy Las Nochers. For this reason, Aizen banned its use.
However, Grimmjow was completely unconcerned by this ban. In his decisive battle against Ichigo, he unleashed a blue Gran Rey Cero that was both powerful and deadly.
2. Cero Oscuras
Like Grimmjow, Ulquiorra also possesses a powerful Cero technique, Cero Oscuras. The Cero is predominantly black with a greenish outline.
According to Ulquiorra, Cero Oscuras bears a resemblance to Ichigo's black Getsuga Tensho. This technique is highly destructive and has been shown to blow up a large area of the Las Noches dome.
3. Cetro Metralleta
Coyote Starrk is a powerful member of Espada No. 1. His fighting style tends to focus on the use of Cero. He possesses an ultimate technique called Cero Metralleta, which resembles a machine gun.
Although fired separately, this technique uniquely appears to form a massive energy blast. Furthermore, Starrk can change the direction of the shots while firing, making it difficult for opponents to dodge.
4. Cero Double
Next, there's a technique called Cero Double, mastered by Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck. This technique has a very unique mechanism. After absorbing an opponent's Cero, Nelliel can fire both it and her own Cero simultaneously.
The combination of the two Ceros produces a much greater destructive effect. Nelliel demonstrated this technique during a fierce battle against Espada No. 5, Nnoitora Gilga.
5. Cero Cornea
As mentioned previously, each Arrancar has a unique method of firing a Cero. Some use their hands, fingertips, mouths, or even their pupils, as with the Arrancar named Tesra Lindocruz.
Tesra has an interesting technique called Cero Cornea. By focusing energy on his pupils, he can fire a Cero that is small but powerful enough to destroy large boulders.
6. Cero Sincrético
Unlike the previous version, Cero Sincrético is a combination of two Ceros fired by Pesche Guatiche and Dondochakka Birstanne. Their combined Ceros produce a mixed-color blast.
Although the attack had no effect on Szayelaporro Granz, it impressed him. After unleashing the attack, Pesche and Dondochakka hilariously ran out of energy.
7. Mashiro Super Cero
Although not an Arrancar, Mashiro is capable of firing a Cero while wearing her Hollow Mask. She possesses an interesting technique called Mashiro Super Cero.
When unleashing this technique, Mashiro kicks the air towards the target and then fires a lime-green Cero. The blast uniquely follows the path of Mashiro's kick.
8. La Mirada
Kaname Tosen is the former captain of the 9th Division of the Gotei 13 who decided to betray the group and become a follower of Aizen. After undergoing Hollowfication, he gains Hollow powers, allowing her to access Arrancar techniques, such as Cero and Ressurección.
One of her techniques, La Mirada, is a Cero-based technique. Tosen creates two separate greenish Ceros. He then combines them and fires them at her opponent with full force.
9. Beautiful Charlotte Chulhourne's Final Holy Wonderful Pretty Super Magnum Sexy Sexy Glamorous Cero
Charlotte Chulhourne is one of the powerful Arrancar members of the Baraggan Fracción. She has a playful personality and is similar to Yumichika. She also possesses a variety of Cero shots that are quite absurd but deadly.
Before firing a Cero, Charlotte will strike a series of strange poses, eventually bringing her hands together in a heart shape. Afterward, she fires a purplish-pink Cero that is difficult for opponents to avoid.
