9 Strongest Gangs in Tokyo Revengers, Ranked

In Tokyo Revengers, there are so many intense and interesting fights between various characters from diverse gang and backgrounds.

These fights are driven Takemichi Hanagaki, who repeatedly travels through time to prevent the tragic deaths of his friends and stop the Tokyo Manji Gang (Toman) from becoming a corrupt criminal syndicate.

Every major confrontation changes both the timeline and the power structure of Tokyo's underworld, leading former friends into brutal battles for dominance.

So, which is the strongest gang in Tokyo Revengers? Find out the answer in the following article!

9. Moebius

Moebius is one of the oldest biker gangs in the story. This gang is older than the Tokyo Manji group and has been legendary for several years. Nobunaka Asai was the former eighth leader of the Moebius gang.

This gang was involved in conflict with Toman because one of its members harassed Pah Chin's close friend. Their fight was very tense. Draken was originally stabbed to death by Osanai during the conflict, but fortunately, he was saved by Takemichi.

In terms of strength, this gang is quite formidable and strong. However, their strength wasn't enough to defeat the Toman gang, which was much stronger than them.

8. Valhalla

Valhalla is an interesting gang known as the Headless Angels. The mastermind and main leader of this gang is the cunning Kisaki Teta. Furthermore, this gang has powerful members, such as Hanma, who used to be in Moebius, and Kazutora, who hates Toman.

Kazutora personally had a sad and emotional history with Baji in the past. He was the one who killed Mikey's older brother. Kazutora's story unfolds during Valhalla's battle against Toman.

Although Kisaki is the main mastermind behind this gang, Hanma acts as if he's in charge. He's obsessed with defeating Mikey. However, his efforts fail because Mikey is far stronger than him.

7. Rokuhara Tandai

Rokuhara Tandai is one of the gangs created after Tokyo's Sengoku Period. This gang is led by Teronu South. After Toman disbanded, this gang gained significant power and influence throughout much of Tokyo.

Not only that, this gang also boasts extremely powerful members. Top members of this gang include the former Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku, including the Haitani Brothers. As leader, Terano possesses exceptional physical prowess and fighting prowess, capable of bringing Draken to his knees.

Clearly, Rokuhara Tendai is also able to fight other gangs without fear. They fundamentally enjoy fighting and defeating their enemies.

6. Tenjiku

Before creating Tenjiku, Izana Kurokawa was the leader of the 8th Generation Black Dragon gang. Interestingly, Izana appears to have an obsession with Shinichiro Sano, whom he considers his brother. When he learned that Shinichiro had a brother, it left him feeling betrayed.

After Shinichiro's death, Izana created the Tenjiku gang and considered Mikey his new Shinichiro. The Tenjiku gang operated in the Yokohama area and boasted top members, such as the Heavenly Kings and the Haitani Brothers.

Before this gang fought Toman, Izana alone possessed the power to take down powerful gangs in Tokyo. Upon discovering his opponent's weaknesses, Izana would leave them bruised and bloody.

5. Brahman

Brahman is one of the strongest and most feared gangs after Toman was disbanded. Unlike other gangs, this one is unique because they prefer to be in the spotlight. Instead, they employ cunning tactics to attack other gangs when their defenses are weak.

The leader of this gang is also very unique. She is a woman named Senju Kawaragi. Interestingly, Senju uses an umbrella that she can use to fight. Furthermore, this gang has top members worth wary of.

The members of this gang have even been dubbed the Living Legends of the Black Dragons. Furthermore, this gang recruited former Toman members who wielded significant influence, namely Takemichi and Draken.

4. Kantou Manji Gang

On par with Rokuhara Tandai and Brahman, the Kantou Manji Gang is also one of the strongest gangs in Tokyo after Toman disbanded. This gang is led by Mikey and can be considered the evil version of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Unlike Rokuhara Tandai and Brahman, this gang doesn't have many members.

This isn't a big problem because Mikey is still very strong and capable of taking on many opponents. When this gang first appeared, Mikey was seen surrounded by many enemies. Besides Mikey, there are two other members who possess powerful powers.

What's clear is that Mikey has been consumed by the darkness within him while leading this gang. This makes him a very frightening figure.

3. Black Dragon

Black Dragon us a top gang in the Kanto region, feared for generations. The gang's founder was Mikey's older brother, Shinichiro Sano. Ironically, Shinichiro died at the hands of Mikey's best friend, Kazutora.

Shinichiro's death left a deep trauma in Mikey, changing his personality. Furthermore, this change also impacted the Toman gang. As a result, Toman began to slowly collapse in the future.

The leaders of the Black Dragons are also very interesting. For example, Izana Kurokawa served as the eighth leader before founding the Tenjiku gang. Furthermore, Takemichi, then the captain of Toman's first division, served as the gang's eleventh leader at one time.

Certainly, the Black Dragons are known for their limitless potential and exceptional teamwork skills. Everything about this gang is so intriguing that they are considered the strongest gang of their generation.

2. Bonten

Bonten is one of the worst criminal organizations in Japan. Predictably, this gang is led by the incredibly strong and invincible Mikey. For various reasons, Mikey founded this ruthless criminal organization and recruited several former members of the Tenjiku gang.

Besides Mikey, members of this gang include Harushiyo Sanzo, Kakucho, Kanji, and the Haitani Brothers. When they were first introduced, they even had a rather gruesome panel where Harushiyo shot three people deemed traitors in the back of the head.

1. Tokyo Manji Gang

Tokyo Manji Gang is arguably the strongest gang in Tokyo Revengers. This gang has immense influence and very strong members, especially Mikey, the gang's leader, and his right-hand man, known as Draken.

Not to forget, this gang also has the unyielding Takemichi. In addition, there are Angry, Smiley, Pehyan, Mitsuya, Hakkai, and Pah-Chin. They are all powerful characters.

An example of this gang's strength can be seen in the battle against Tenjiku. Fifty Toman members fearlessly faced 400 Tenjiku members. Furthermore, Angry was also able to fearlessly defeat several Tenjiku executives.

Toman's influence was so great that its disbandment caused chaos in Tokyo and upset the balance of power among the other gangs. Clearly, this gang is extremely powerful and possesses a strong sense of solidarity, making it difficult to defeat.
